FLStudio Loop record/Enable overdub deletes notes

e.g. Using RMIV I tried building a loop with "Loop record/Enable overdub" switched on. Sometimes it just adds a note, other times it adds the notes I've played but deletes those close by in the same bar position.

Check the option "Blend recorded notes with existing data" (Ctrl + B)...I think this is what you are looking for.
