UNAGATED is a feature-rich gating plugin from Wire Grind.

No More Clicking
If a gate's attack time is very short, it will click. With UNAGATED's Suppress Clicking button, clicks instantly vanish. No look-ahead required.

Balance Transients
Make drums more or less punchy by adjusting the loudness of a note's onset independently of its tail. The parameters Delay Attack and Force Release combined with a modest setting for Range can bring out this subtle, but very perceptible change.

Randomized Gating
Create random and repeatable rhythmic variations with Skip Beats and Skip Pattern. Great for thinning out dense layered rhythms. Change Skip Pattern with automation to create rhythmic variations in real-time.

Sidechain a Synth Pad
Load up a synth pad and put UNAGATED on the track. Then set up a drum track with lots of rapid beats. Sidechain it to UNAGATED, and set a low threshold. Increasing Hold Closed will now start removing entire notes, and thereby alter the pad's rhythm.

Duck the Bass
Bring down the bass on an instrument track to make room for the kick. To do this, sidechain a drum track and use the Duck option along with the powerful Hi Cut filter.

De-Bleeding
Using separate thresholds for the attack and release is a great way to capture the natural resonance of a recorded drum while still cutting out bleed. With the scope display, you'll be able to dial in the perfect settings.
