Strange Audio DSP has updated maniFold Omega to v1.2.
The plugin is now tempo-aware. Recording buffer length locks to 1–8 bars, base delay time sets in note subdivisions, and playback syncs to the DAW transport — hit play and everything moves with your session (DAW playback transportSync is available in settings menu).
Changes
- Two new sound design controls:
- toneShape gives you five filter modes in one knob — DJ 12 dB, Tilt EQ, BPF, Notch, and DJ Ladder 24 dB — with the filter curve visualization drawn live.
- character morphs continuously between chorus and flanger coloration, with a pre/post switch to place it before or after the micro-loop engine. Pre shapes the source going into the buffer; post processes the loop on the way out — very different results.
- The micro-loop engine also gets a new trapezoid window shape with a live envelope visualizer, so you can see the shape you're working with.
