Applied Acoustics Systems has announced the release of the Organix sound pack for the Chromaphone 3 and AAS Player plug-ins in collaboration with AAS resident sound designer Christian Laffitte from France.
Organix is designed to bring a natural, deeply organic instrumental character into your productions.
The pack explores a rich palette of acoustic influences, drawing from India and Asia with expressive plucked strings and airy winds, and extending to Africa and the Middle East through resonant lutes and intricate percussions. These traditional tonalities are grounded by modern electric basses and hybrid elements, creating a seamless bridge between heritage and contemporary sound design.
Organix blends raw material resonance, wood, skin, and strings, with warm instrumental textures, nuanced articulations, and immersive tonal layers. From intimate solo voices to layered ensembles, each preset is crafted for expressive playability, with four integrated macros enabling real-time control and fluid variation.
