Article for enthusiasts and developers alike describing a wide range of techniques for creating complex waveforms from a sine, with code and output

This article is a kind of ongoing 'Programmer's Synthesis Notes' intended to not only help newcomers on their way to generating their first sounds from first principles (and to encourage evolution of their own techniques based on these principles), but to also be of at least some interest to the more experienced developers and seasoned synthesis enthusiasts out there.
All the code presented is as implemented in released products written in PureBasic, and all the waveform images are their actual output.
