NAMM 2025Austrian Audio Announces OC-S10 Reference Recording Microphone
Austrian Audio has introduced the OC-S10, a new flagship reference microphone aimed at both vocal and instrument recording. The company states the microphone was designed from the ground up with modern production needs in mind, while still respecting the legacy of classic microphone designs.
OC-S10 brings a unique, modern voice to this category which is designed to inspire artists and performers to capture their own personal perfect performance – be it by voice or by instrument.

The OC-S10 features Austrian Audio's CKR12 capsule, a free-floating design using what the company calls Open Acoustics Technology. The microphone also boasts a new electronic design for a low noise floor and multiple cardioid pattern variations accessible via dual XLR outputs. The housing is made of metal, with adjustable rings for pad, low-cut filter, and polar pattern selection. A shockmount and magnetic, frameless pop filter are included.
