Cool WAV has announced the release of Vitality Volume 2, a collection of 50 presets for Vital by Matt Tytel. They say:
The genres of choice are Trap, Hip Hop, Pop, and R&B. You will find analog 808s, electric and synth bass, live instrument samples (bassoon, cello, guitar, harp, marimba, organ, piccolo, trombone, trumpet, upright piano, viola, violin, xylophone) layered with analog wavetables. Also included are synth brass, keys, leads, pads, percussion, plucks, and sound fx.
A variety of sound sources were used to create this bank, including analog and vintage hardware synthesizer wavetables from Producer Hive (received clearance to use the wavetables):
- 2 of Cool WAV's analog drum machines (Behringer RD-8 and IK Multimedia Uno Drum) ran through a Radial JDI direct box with Jensen transformers and processed with a Warm Audio ToneBeast Black preamp. Finally, into an Antelope Audio Discrete 4 audio interface with premium A/D converters.
- Live instrument samples used are listed under the Creative Commons 0 license.
- Vital's text to wavetable feature was used along with stock wavetables.

- The presets are packed into a .vitalbank file and a how to install video is included.
