Live Workflow Tools releases Simpler Tuner 2 – real-time audio analysis, smarter start-marker tracking, and exact key tuning
Live Workflow Tools has announced the release of Simpler Tuner 2, a complete redesign of the sample-tuning device for Ableton's Simpler.
V1 relied on filenames. V2 analyzes the audio directly. Drop it after any Simpler, load a sample, and it instantly detects the pitch and retunes Simpler under the hood so everything plays in key. No metadata needed.
What's new in V2:
- New audio-analysis engine.
- Real-time reaction to Simpler's Start Marker.
- Two tuning modes: closest key or exact root key (e.g. C vs C3).
- One-click mapping system that automatically connects to the Simpler in front of it.
- Background-lightweight, zero-setup workflow.
Live Workflow Tools says Simpler Tuner 2 is great for quick browsing, tuning one-shots, finding tonal spots in longer loops, or keeping everything harmonically locked without thinking.
