Meltopia updates MIDI Command Studio to v1.2.0 - adds encoder volume mapping for Windows control workflows

Meltopia has updated MIDI Command Studio to version 1.2.0 for Windows, adding support for mapping volume control to encoders as well as faders.
The update means users can now control system volume or per-application volume from encoder-based controls, including jog wheel and endless encoder style hardware. According to the developer, the new implementation also works with variable-speed encoders, allowing slower turns for finer adjustments and faster turns for larger volume changes.
MIDI Command Studio is designed to let MIDI controllers operate as general-purpose Windows control surfaces, with support for shortcuts, macros, app and system volume, and preset switching for use outside the DAW.
MIDI Command Studio 1.2.0 is available now for Windows.
