Muse Group has launched MuseSounds Pro, a new subscription that brings professional instrument playback directly into MuseScore Studio.
Created in collaboration with leading sound designers including Spitfire Audio, Vienna Symphonic Library, and Audio Imperia, MuseSounds Pro makes high-quality instruments available inside the free notation software, without external DAWs or complex setups. The subscription is designed for MuseScore Studio composers, arrangers, educators and students who want to hear clear and realistic playback straight from their scores — and experience the full range of MuseSounds in one convenient workflow.
All MuseSounds instruments are designed specifically for notation and behave consistently with a natural and intuitive musical response across the entire library.
Professional sound designed for notation
For many musicians, achieving realistic playback has traditionally required expensive libraries, MIDI programming, and separate production setups. MuseSounds Pro takes a different approach by working directly with leading sound creators to design instruments specifically for notation. Dynamics, articulations, slurs, breath marks, and expressive markings are interpreted automatically from the score. This allows composers and arrangers to evaluate balance, phrasing, and structure early in the writing process, directly inside their notation.
Core sounds and tools in one subscription
MuseSounds Pro brings together professional instruments developed in collaboration with iconic sound designers Spitfire Audio, Vienna Symphonic Library, and Audio Imperia. These libraries cover a wide range of orchestral and keyboard sounds, including woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, harp, celesta, vibraphone, hybrid pianos, and lyrical soloists. Previously, these libraries were available only as individual purchases or standalone bundles.
In addition to these libraries, MuseSounds Pro includes Cantai, a cutting-edge vocal playback library that enables sung lyric playback directly from the score in MuseScore Studio via the Online Sounds feature, introduced last year.
Pricing
The subscription is available for $199 USD per year from MuseHub, with a monthly option of $19.99 USD, and includes access to future new sounds and updates as they are released.
