MIDI Innovation Awards

Music Hackspace is collaborating once again with the MIDI Association and NAMM to bring you the 2023 edition of the MIDI Innovation Awards. This competition is open to anyone with a prototype, art installation, software or hardware product that uses MIDI technology. By participating, entrants have the opportunity to showcase their innovations to a wider audience and potentially win prizes from NAMM and Music China. Sound on Sound is the media partner this year, making it a great opportunity to launch a new product.

5 upcoming live workshops in January

Music Hackspace is offering several workshops and meetups this month: Fundamentals of Meta Sounds in Unreal Engine, Sonification with Max: Turning Data into Sound, and a Max meetup with Michael Begg, Shangyun Wu and Elisa Batti. They also have a workshop on Unsupervised Machine Learning via FluCoMa In Max and a workshop on Creative Vocal Looping With Roland Loop Stations.
