Nacre has released Close, a creative proximity / source-focus effect for shaping distance, focus, and room tone.
Close brings a sound forward and lets the room step back without simply making it louder. It uses a soft spectral mask and is designed for roomy recordings, samples, found sound, voice, Foley, and similar material where the source needs to feel closer while keeping the comparison level-matched.
Close is available for Windows as a CLAP and VST3 plug-in. The launch price is $19.
