Noisebud updates SubBB to v2.52 – Sub-frequency control toolbox updated with LUFS compensation
Noisebud has updated SubBB (Sub-bass Black Box) to version 2.52.
SubBB is a sub-frequency toolbox designed to help producers and engineers manage the low end in their audio productions. It can be used to gently control sub dynamics or to add large amounts of sub-bass while maintaining clarity in the rest of the frequency spectrum.
Changes in v2.52:
- Fixed DC offset bug on macOS.
- Added LUFS-based loudness compensation.
- macOS build is now signed and notarized (Gatekeeper-compatible).

- Windows: 64-bit VST3.
- macOS: 64-bit AU & VST3.
SubBB is available for free to patrons via Noisebud's Patreon page with a $5 monthly subscription. A $30 one-time purchase option is also available in the Patreon shop, which includes updates up to the next major version (e.g. from 2.52 to 3.0).
