PatchArena is a new site dedicated to bringing you new patches for your VSTis, DXis, and AUs and to celebrate the launch of the project they are hosting a massive sound design competition.
To enter the competition all you have to do is design some patches for any VSTi, DXi or AU audio plugin. It's as simple as that!
As there are so many different types of instruments available the competition has been divided into several categories, with excellent prizes going to the winners of each category.
Prizes include: Tassman 3, z3ta+, Pentagon 1, Square 1, Tau Pro, Electron, BeatBurner VSTi, Slayer 2, D'Cota, Reaktor, Pro-53, Xphrase, Absynth2 and FM7.
One lucky winner will also receive a copy of the latest VSTi from reFX which is yet to be announced!
The categories include best bank, best drumkit, best 'classic' patch, best bass patch, best lead patch, best modular synth patch, best FX patch and best pad patch.
The competition will run for 12 weeks until the 14 November 2003.
