Plughugger has released Beyond, a soundset for Arturia Pigments 3 aimed at modern pop and melodic EDM.
The focus of the soundset was the internal synth engine, using mainly the subtractive part, pushing it as far as possible with additional FM, Unison and the effects in version 3 of Pigments like the multiband compressor and chorus from the Juno.
To make the soundset more broader in range, Plughugger added a handful of modern drum samples from the Elektron Analog Rytm as well as vocal phrases spoken by a speech synthesizer.
To bring out a different aspect of the sounds Plughugger remade their personal favourite sounds based on the concept of old-school Romplers. Instead of using the analog oscillators, they based this library on more traditional soundsources such as real pianos, strings, guitars, electric pianos, basses and synth sounds from the Pigments 3 sample library.
Beyond contains 169 sounds in the following categories:

All sounds are properly tagged in the preset browser and all four Macro knobs are assigned to easily change the feel of the sounds.
