Techno DVCO from Plughugger is a new soundset for the Elektron Analog Rytm hardware groovebox with a focus on techno, tech house and minimal genres:
With Techno DVCO Plughugger set out for a hard and dark vibe, with a touch of dystopian energies - complete with hard and distorted basses, plucky synths with tunings even the old masters feared, paranoid textures and synthesized kick drums and percussion sounds.
The core concept of the soundset was to create everything based on the Dual VCO oscillator, including the kick and percussion sounds.
One convenient benefit of only using the DVCO engine is that finding sounds becomes easy, as you don't have to switch around with different engines and tracks to find what you are looking for.
This soundset contains no samples or audio files. Only presets for the Elektron Analog Rytm Mk I and MK II.
