Punk Labs has released a new plugin called OneTrick Cryptid, a fantasy FM drum machine synthesizer for Linux, Windows and macOS as a CLAP, VST3 and Audio Unit.
OneTrick Cryptid's heart is a Yamaha DX7 emulator developed by Punk Labs in the form factor of a Roland TR-808. The most notable features include 18 classic emulated sounds, Chromatic MIDI Channels, and Multi-Out.

The source code is available under the GPLv3 for anyone to inspect, adapt and learn from.
