Sound Magic has announced iVoiceLord intelligent microphone, a microphone specially designed for smart phones (using iOS or Android) and iPad. It is an APP-enhanced microphone which users can use an APP on smart phones/iPad to control, to adjust and to gain better sound through the microphone.
Armed with HTML5 technology, iVoiceLord provides a HTML5 APP on smart phones and iPad. By using this APP, users will see how the sound will change when they lower or higher the height of the microphone, or move microphone around with the singer. All data will be shown on the screen when the microphone is moved to a specific position. These Data are useful for reference when users seek their target sound.
Also with the APP, users will have instructions on how to get their preferred sound. All they need to do is to draw a rough frequency response curve in the APP, and then it will automatically calculate the result for them.
iVoiceLord also includes a Windows VST plugin. The Vocalist plugin stores the microphone performance data inside it, so it can effectively hide the weak points, while amplifying the good points of the sound.
Vocalist is a unique, comprehensive and powerful tool for vocal tracks. It combines effects units such as De-esser, EQ, Compressor, Doubler and Reverb and each one has been optimized for the human voice. Vocalist's unique 3D Doubler produces a huge new vocal effect by revisiting the very concept of the doubling process. Vocalist applies normal doubling, but then expands the sound into a 3D space so users can hear both the width and the depth of their vocal tracks. This makes their vocal sounds clearer with a strength that can stand strong in any mix.
