
SoundGhost has announced the release of Scatter, a new granular cloud generator for MacOS and Windows (AU/VST3) described as "a granular plug-in designed for creating scattered soundscapes from incoming audio."
Users can combine up to 64 grains to create smooth shimmer reverbs or select a smaller number to create sporadic randomised patterns. There's also functionality to spread the pitches of the grains over 4 octaves using randomisation, freeze and reverse modes, shaping tools and an additional reverb send.
