Soundspear has released Aloha, a vintage tape plug-in that is designed to reproduce the sound of the oldest low-IPS tape devices. They say:
It brings back the the richness and feel of pre-1950 tape recorders by re-creating the body of the slowest tape devices ever. The color is preserved while the unwanted artifacts are reduced to the bare minimum.
The following knobs allow you to modify the digital behavior of the plug-in:
- Dry Wet allows you to blend the original signal with the one at the end of the processing chain.
- Out Gain controls the output volume.
- Sweet controls the speed of the tape device in inches per second.
- Body lets you adjust the amount of harmonics and pitch flutter.
- Topping controls the compensation gain for the high-end.
Intro Price: € 9.90 (Reg. € 14.90).
