Toontrack's dfh SUPERIOR, the sequel to the award-winning drum library Drumkit From Hell, is now shipping.
dfh SUPERIOR includes all new drumkits with even more realism and user control than dfh, and it includes it's own built-in audio engine and interface. dfh SUPERIOR is available for both Windows & Max OS X in VST and ReWire formats (AU is in development and will be a free download for registered VST OS X users).
The idea behind dfh SUPERIOR is to make a programmable environment as close to a real studio session as possible. All leakage, that are a big part of the sound in a drum recording, bleeds naturally through all mics.
dfh SUPERIOR lets you choose whether or not you want bleeding in each mic, and if you want a bit less bleeding (say for example that you need to lower the volume of the hi hat bleeding trough the snare microphone, well now you can do that).
dfh SUPERIOR's ambition is to cover most needs when it comes to genuine drums. From Hard Metal to soft jazz and acoustic music.
