Platinum Samples has released the Platinum Grooves Volume 2 multi-format MIDI groove library featuring 21 songs inspired by artist like Green Day, Bob Dylan, Toto, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, U2 and others played by Stevie DiStanislao (David Gilmore, David Crosby) in straight, shuffle and swing styles from classic rock and punk to fusion ranging in tempo from 63 to 186 BPM.

All 21 songs are split into sections like: Intro, Verse, Chorus, Solo and Ending as well as including Intro Fills and free-time Ending Fermatas. For ease of use, all songs are also included separated into two bar grooves.

This multi-format collection includes grooves formatted for BFD3, BFD2, BFD Eco, EZDrummer, Superior Drummer, Addictive Drums, Steven Slate Drums 4 as well as General MIDI Standard MIDI Files which can be used with any GM compatible drum software or hardware --- this includes drum machines and synthesizers which have drum sounds. It is optimized for 1 Kick, 1 Snare, 3 Toms, 1 Hihat, 2 Crash cymbals and 1 Ride cymbal.
