Versilian Studios and Soundemote release "VS Xylophone" for Mac, Win, and Kontakt (Free for today: September 2 2013)

Versilian Studios, in partnership with Soundemote, has announced a chromatically-sampled Xylophone plug-in virtual instrument for Mac OS X and Windows, as well as a .nki file for use in the full version of Kontakt.

Xylophones are useful in genres like orchestral, cinematic, classical, concert/marching band, jazz, and world music. This instrument contains three different mallet types (yarn, medium rubber, hard rubber) in a single package, which can be switched using the modulation wheel. It includes 2-3x Round Robin and two velocity layers.

Price: TBA. It is available for "Pay What You Want / Free" until September 2nd 11:59 PM EST (GMT-5), after which it will have a set price that will be announced at the end of this introductory offer.

VS Xylophone comes in the form of either a 32-bit or 64-bit VSTi plug-in or an Audio Unit component or a Kontakt .nki file and resources folder.
