Versilian Studios Releases Three New Products and Ports Four Old Products to Kontakt

Versilian Studios has released three new Virtual Instrument products, as well as four ports of their previous products to work in Kontakt.

The following products were released:

• Timpani: an extensively sampled Timpani, available for Kontakt and also as a VSTi/AU. $15.
• VS Upright No. 1: a medium-sized sampled upright piano ideal for sketches; as VSTi/AU. Free or donation.
• VS Chamber Orchestra: a very light selection of orchestral and wind ensemble instruments ideal for beginner composers. Free or donation.

The following previously published products were ported to Kontakt:

• Dan Tranh: a Vietnamese pentatonic zither that uses metal strings.
• Tubular Bells: suspended chimes used to emulate church bells in orchestral music.
• Glockenspiel: Deep-sampled chime-like mallet instrument.
• Handchimes: a strange cross between a hand-bell and a tuning fork.
