The Behringer 110 is a complete analog synthesizer voice packed into a single, compact Eurorack module. As an authentic recreation of the original Roland System-100M 110 module, it contains the three essential building blocks of subtractive synthesis: a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), a Voltage Controlled Filter (VCF), and a Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA). This all-in-one design makes it an incredibly powerful and convenient starting point for building a modular system or an efficient way to add a full mono-synth voice to an existing setup.
The module is logically laid out with three distinct sections. The VCO section features three simultaneous waveform outputs (triangle, ramp, and pulse) with a wide pitch range and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for creating rich, animated tones. The VCF is a classic resonant low-pass filter, perfect for everything from subtle tonal shaping to squelchy, self-oscillating sweeps. Finally, the VCA section provides control over the final output level. The module includes extensive modulation possibilities, with three CV inputs for the VCO, two for the VCF, and two for the VCA, allowing for complex and dynamic patches to be created within a single, space-saving unit.
