The Behringer 140 Dual Envelope/LFO is a powerhouse of modulation, bringing the functionality of the legendary Roland System-100M 140 module into the Eurorack format. This single module provides three of the most crucial modulation sources for any synthesizer: two independent ADSR envelope generators and a versatile, free-running Low-Frequency Oscillator (LFO). It is designed to be the primary tool for adding movement, articulation, and life to your patches, from shaping the contour of a note to creating vibrato, filter sweeps, and rhythmic pulses.

The module is cleanly divided into its core sections. The top two-thirds contain two identical and classic ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) envelope generators, each with its own gate input, manual trigger button, and dual outputs (one normal, one inverted) for maximum flexibility. The bottom third houses the powerful LFO, which features a wide frequency range from a super-slow 0.05 Hz up to 30 Hz. The LFO offers five simultaneous waveform outputs (sine, triangle, square, ramp, and sawtooth), a dedicated delay control for fading in the modulation, and external CV and reset inputs. This combination of dual envelopes and a feature-rich LFO makes the 140 an indispensable hub of control and animation for any modular system.
