297 Dual Portamento / CV Utilities

The Behringer 297 is a versatile Eurorack utility module inspired by the functionality of classic West Coast synthesizers, particularly the rare Buchla 297. It combines two independent portamento (slew) controllers with a flexible CV mixing and processing section, making it a powerful tool for adding glide to your melodic lines and for manipulating control voltages in creative ways. This module is ideal for creating smooth, sliding notes, and for combining and inverting CV signals to generate complex modulation.

The dual portamento sections allow you to apply adjustable glide to two separate pitch CVs independently, with dedicated inputs and outputs for each. The CV utility section features a mixer that can combine two CV signals, with a separate attenuator for one of the inputs. It also provides both normal and inverted outputs, allowing you to easily flip the polarity of an envelope or LFO. This combination of slew limiting and CV mixing makes the 297 a highly practical and creative hub for managing the control signals within your Eurorack system.
