Abstract Chamber is a reverb plug-in with a simple, fast to setup interface. It is designed for longer modulated reverbs, while trying to maintain a natural yet abstract spatial impression.
The damping and diffusion has received some significant changes in 1.5.2 to allow for somewhat more aggressive variation in the decay.

Unbeatable pad/atmosphere reverb in the freeware world.
Most software (and especially most available freeware) reverbs transform your input source's textures into noisy mush when you task them with long reverb sounds. Abstract chamber does a remarkable job of retaining your texture, and the specialized modulation evolves the sound over the course of 8+ second reverb tails in a natural, perfect way almost all other reverbs simply can't. I've honestly never heard a reverb rock a 20-second tail so well.
Your mix will appreciate the clarity.
You can tell the developer has a serious ear to make a reverb like this. All the engineering in the world won't beat a designer who can hear the difference.
Read ReviewGreat huge reverbs! Sounds more like how space would sound than a church so to speak.
This is definetly the best freeware modulation reverb for wide spaces out there. And now one knows it. Another great free modulation reverb with some better options is omniverb (But only for small and middle size hall effects). If you use both together to effect your music, you don't have to pay for any other.
