I set everything up as indicated in the video, but it kept saying no connection.

i have a 2012 model MacBook Pro (9,1) and an iPad (3rd Generation)

after choosing A on the iPad I hit connect on Mac and iPad and it would say connected for a few seconds, then it would change back to no connection.

please help.
