Automatizer is a subtractive synthesizer with the special feature that all knobs are automatable via a dedicated multislider for each parameter. Additionally, there is an editor to inject complex waves into each multislider. This allows you to create complex and impossible sounds that no other synthesizer can replicate.
The synthesizer consists of two classic oscillators, a sub-oscillator, a spectral oscillator, two wavetable oscillators, and two noise generators. Each of these has a dedicated filter. Then there are four master filters placed in parallel. And finally, an effects chain consisting of a chorus, a flanger, a compressor, a delay, and a gigareverb. And there is also an ADSR envelope.
The synthesizer has a presets module with banks. The instrument is completed with a settings module.
When you click on a knob, the dedicated multislider for that parameter is activated. You can see the parameter's name at the top left of the multislider. To the left of the parameter name on the multislider, there is a toggle button that, when activated, moves the knob according to the curve drawn on the multislider. The movement will be triggered with the note onset and will deactivate when it ends.
In the upper right area of the multislider, there is another toggle button that opens the wave editor window. By moving the editor parameters and activating the editor's toggle button, the created waveform is injected into the active multislider.
A standalone version is available for macOS and Windows, as well as a Max for Live version for use within Ableton Live.

macOS: Since this application is downloaded directly from the internet and is not signed in the App Store, macOS may block it from opening by default. To open and run the app, please follow these simple steps:
Open System Settings on your Mac.
Click on Privacy & Security in the sidebar.
Scroll down to the Security section.
Look for the message about our app and click Open Anyway.
Enter your Mac password if prompted, then click Open.
You only need to do this once.
When opening the standalone on macOS, a dialog box will appear requesting permission to use the microphone and to access the documents folder. Microphone use is not necessary. Access to the documents folder is required to save the different preset banks in JSON format, so granting this permission is mandatory for its use.
The app hasn't MIDI panic button but you can press the app piano keyboard to get the same effect.
