About the Instrument

Electric Strings harnesses our powerful Layer Blends engine to fuse the iconic warmth of a vintage Solina electric string synthesiser with our signature 9 Atmosphere Layers, all crafted from the original samples. The result is a versatile instrument capable of delivering both retro charm and modern cinematic textures.

Controls

Layer Controls

– Solo an individual layer by selecting the [S] button. Lock the settings of an individual layer by selecting the padlock. This means if you hit the central shuffle button, that layer's sound will not change.

Attack & Release

– Shape the sound with global attack and release controls that affect all layers.

Sub

– Add a layer of sub bass to the entire sound.

Filters

– Low pass and high pass filters applied to all layers.

Delay

– Controls the level of the wet delay signal. Click the cog for further options such as delay type, saturation, damping, and feedback.

Reverb

- Control the reverb level with further settings if you click the cog.
