Capulet is a novel virtual-analogue drum synthesiser combined with a modern, sophisticated yet joyfully addictive step-sequencer.

It is available in VST3 formats for both macOS and Windows, as well as AU format for macOS.

Drum synth

• MIDI playable with velocity sensitivity.

Sequencer

• Four 16-step sequencer tracks, one dedicated to each synth.
• Four sequencer patterns per patch (A, B, C and D):
  • Selectable by parameter automation.
  • Patterns can be copy-pasted using a right-click context menu.
• Host playback synchronisation.
• Each track runs independently, with freely configurable:
  • Number of steps (sequence length).
  • Playback direction (forward / backwards / ping-pong).
  • Playback speed (note duration, including dotted and triplet).
  • Swing (both positive and negative).
  • Step nudge.
• Each step has individual:
  • Note velocity.
  • Probability "eclipse" (i.e. chance of being triggering).
  • Conditional note triggers:
    • First loop only.
    • Every loop except the first.
    • Every *n* of *n* loops.
  • Rolls
    • Up to four quarter-note beats long.
    • Individual repeat timings, including dotted and triplet.
    • Velocity ramp up / down.
• Two discrete modulation lanes:
  • Each can be assigned to any synth parameter for the track.
  • Bipolar modulation, with a dedicated intensity control.
  • Modulations are visualised on the synth parameter dials.
• Produces pure MIDI, including modulation data as CC events:
  • Record MIDI to your DAW for further editing or arranging.
  • Route the plug-in MIDI output to another instrument (e.g. a sampler).
