Catalyst is a VST/AU sequencer plugin that helps you create both classic and modern synth parts, including basslines, melodies, chord progressions and arpeggios.

The plugin features 5 modules:

• Step sequencer - create monophonic patterns and jam with them on your MIDI keyboard.
• Harmonizer - turn individual notes into full chords that match the key of your song.
• Arpeggiator - design custom arpeggio patterns that turn chords into melodies.
• Synth plugin - host any VST/VST3/AU synth plugin directly in Catalyst.
• Parameter automation - automate synth plugin parameters with dedicated step sequencers (parameter lock style).

Modules can be switched on or off individually and feed into each other, so that single notes from the step sequencer can be transformed into a chord progression with the harmonizer, which can in turn be processed with the arpeggiator.

Catalyst is aware of the key (root note and scale) of your song and allows you to experiment freely without ever producing a false note.

Since Catalyst hosts synth plugins directly and outputs audio, there is no need for complicated MIDI routing and extra tracks in your DAW.
