Ceilix-L is a precision mastering limiter built around a dual-layer FFT analysis engine that monitors both input and output spectral content in real time. By integrating a 5ms lookahead architecture with a parallel saturation stage, Ceilix-L provides the rare ability to achieve extreme loudness while maintaining total control over harmonic character and tonal balance.

The processor features four unique saturation algorithms and five calibrated release constants, allowing for everything from surgical peak safety to aggressive, saturated warmth. Instead of relying on static waveshaping, the dual-layer FFT engine allows users to visually detect unwanted harmonics and dial in musical results with confidence. With up to 8x oversampling and a high-resolution response model, Ceilix-L is a professional-grade solution for critical mixing and mastering.

Key Features

• Engine: Dual-Layer FFT-Driven High-Resolution Limiter with Parallel Saturation.

• Saturation Types: 4 distinct algorithms for tonal shaping with mix option.

• Oversampling: Up to 8x real-time oversampling for reduced aliasing.

• Release: 5, 100, 250, 500, and 1000 ms.

• Analyzer: Dual-Layer Input/Output FFT display for precise harmonic monitoring.

• FFT Engine: 4096 / 8192-point resolution with Blackman window.

• Response Model: Internal 4.5 dB tilt and 350 ms ballistic decay.

• Gain Structure:

- Drive: 0 to +24 dB.

- Ceil (Threshold): 0 to -8 dB.

• Metering: Gain Reduction meter and Dual-layer LR Peak meters (background = input, foreground = output).

• Precision: 32-bit floating-point audio processing throughout the signal path.

• Sample Rates: Multi-rate support (44.1 kHz - 96 kHz), dynamically matching host DAW settings.

CPU-Efficient Processing

The DSP and GUI are written entirely in code—free of heavy images, SVGs, or skins. By eliminating graphic overhead at the source, this lightweight architecture ensures stable, low-latency processing that remains highly CPU-efficient, even under heavy analysis or at high sample rates.
