Dark1176 — Multi-Revision FET Compressor (4-in-1).

All four legendary 1176 revisions in a single, unified plugin. LN for the universal workhorse, A for the vintage Bluestripe attitude, F for the Black Face bridge, AE for mastering-grade precision — instantly switchable, with all the calibrated time constants, harmonic profiles, and threshold offsets of each revision intact. The complete 1176 collection in one window.

Four authentic revisions:

LN (Low Noise, Rev D/E/F/G) — Fastest attack (20 μs), tightest release (700 50 ms), soft 4:1 knee with auto 3 dB minimum, controlled harmonics. The universal workhorse.

A (Rev A "Bluestripe", 1968) — Slower 2N3819 FET (50 μs fastest), wider release (1100 100 ms), lower thresholds, ~2× more H2 harmonics, ~2.5× stronger iron magnetization. Vintage attitude.

F (Rev F "Black Face") — Bridge-era FET (25 μs fastest), 900 70 ms release, balanced thresholds, Class A discrete output stage. Punchy but controlled.

AE (Anniversary Edition) — Mastering-friendly 2:1 ratio added, moderate FET (40 μs fastest), balanced 900 80 ms release, re-shaped knees per ratio. Precision-tuned.

Selectable detector topology:

Feedback — authentic 1176 hardware design (detector taps the compressed output) — vintage character.

Feedforward — modern alternative (detector sees input) — tighter, more controlled response.
