DawNote is a mobile-to-DAW companion app for music producers, designed to improve studio productivity by capturing voice notes and creative decisions anywhere, then sending them back synced to the user's DAW through a dedicated VST3/AU plug-in.

Designed for music production workflows, DawNote lets producers step away from the studio while staying connected to their projects. Users can transfer mixes to a phone via Wi-Fi, listen with fresh ears, record timestamped voice notes, then send the notes back to the DAW at the right position in the right project.

DawNote is available on iOS and Android, with a free version and an advanced Pro version for deeper studio workflows.

How it works

1. Transfer your mixes from your DAW or computer to the DawNote mobile app over local Wi-Fi — no cables, no cloud.
2. Listen on the go and record timestamped voice notes at the exact position in the track.
3. Back in the studio, tap Send Notes to DAW. Notes are automatically sent back to the correct project inside the dedicated DawNote plug-in.
4. Inside the DawNote plug-in, notes can be previewed with crossfades and timing indicators, or dragged into the DAW as a single synchronized WAV file, like a regular audio recording.
