I see a lot of plugins lately calling distortion ''warmth'' but I thought it had more to do with having less high frequencies and more low frequencies.

Fair point. I used "warmth" too loosely there. That's on me.

I've updated the description to make it clearer: low Drive emphasizes H2 for roundness, body, and even-harmonic density, while higher Drive brings up H3 and moves the tone into edge, bite, and grit.
