The Elektron Digitone is an 8-voice polyphonic digital synthesizer that makes the often-complex world of FM (Frequency Modulation) synthesis accessible, intuitive, and incredibly musical. By combining a powerful FM sound engine with a classic subtractive synthesis signal flow, the Digitone offers a unique and modern approach to sound design. The sequencer is a key component of the Digitone's workflow, with four synth tracks and four MIDI tracks for controlling external gear. The 64-step sequencer features Elektron's signature parameter locks, micro-timing, and trig conditions, allowing for the creation of intricate and evolving melodic and rhythmic patterns. A comprehensive effects section, with panoramic chorus, saturator delay, and supervoid reverb, adds a final layer of polish to your sounds.
