The Story Behind EchoSnack

Hidden within an abandoned warehouse, a genius-chef raccoon has built a grotesque kitchen-lab devoted to perfect echoes. Bored by sterile delays, he keeps the original Kyle floating in a nutrient vat, siphoning fresh DNA to instant-print bite-sized clones that trundle down a factory conveyor.

Each bewildered miniature, sometimes mutated with a giant ear, an extra arm, or a disturbingly perfect jawline, lets out a startled yelp just before it's shrink-wrapped whole and whisked away through a suction tube to destinations unknown.

That morsel becomes a living delay repeat: slightly warped, always different, and seasoned with panic. The result is EchoSnack—echoes that breathe, wander, and taste disturbingly good because every repeat was once a fresh, screaming Kyle.

By replacing sterile memory buffers with living, terrified buffers, EchoSnack Delay guarantees repeats that wobble, drift, and breathe, seasoned with just a pinch of fear.

Core Design

EchoSnack Delay is a mutating stereo delay that feels more like a living instrument than a static effect. Instead of LFO spreadsheets, you get one global Mutate control that lets echoes warble, smear, and evolve on their own... because at Raccoon Audio, even our delays have personalities.

Mutate Engine
Double-click any knob topped with a round LED to hand its modulation over to Mutate. Depth, speed, and filter sweeps wander independently so every echo tail has a fresh, unexpected contour.

Left/Right Unlink
Run two delay lines at totally different times (ms) for micro-groove chaos, or lock to host BPM for rhythmic repeats. Flip the Link switch whenever you want to edit both at once.

Lo-fi Filter & Drive
High-pass, low-pass, and tape-style saturation live in the feedback loop, so the further your echo travels, the more its tone degrades (in a musically glorious way).

Manual Time Bump
Twist delay time live for pitch-dive mayhem; EchoSnack crossfades seamlessly to avoid zipper noise.
