Elegance

Elegance features a Yamaha C5 Grand Piano sampled to utmost realism using multiple microphone positions, including various Ambisonics microphones. The results are a beautiful rich-sounding piano with a quality never heard before.

Not only was Elegance recorded in three dimensions, but it was also mixed in our Dolby Atmos studio to be able to be delivered ready for any kind of production: Whether you work in Stereo, Dolby Atmos, VR, and even custom speaker arrays, Elegance comes ready with its rich and bright tone.

But not only Elegance features three-dimensional perspectives and mixes - we also worked on production-ready stereo mixes as well as delivered the RAW Stereo Microphone positions. Elegance contains a plethora of colours for you to find your own sound.

Elegance might be one of the most beautiful projects we've been involved in - we spent around 30 hours recording, manually, each and every note with up to 18 Velocities.

Normal Sustains, Una Corda Sustains, resonances, artefacts, keystrokes, muted hammers, pedal noises, Elegance is a true representation of how a Piano must sound and feel.

Finally, we also created Elegance to be compatible with Soft Pedals - so if you have a Soft Pedal (or a Pedal assigned to CC67), you can alternate between Una Corda and normal Sustains, whilst simultaneously enjoying the richness of its sound.

To make things even beefier, we also prepared 10 Sound Design articulations that you can layer with the original Piano in creative ways! All the Sound Design pads were created natively in Ambisonics, meaning they are 100% immersive.
