Version reviewed: Pro 7 on Windows
I had Presonus Studio one 5 Artist since 2021 or 2022. I just didn't think to or maybe didn't think it was necessary to upgrade to Pro 5 or Pro 6. Especially, Since I had Reason 12 (now 13), Mixbus 8 (then 9, now 10 standard), Pro Tools, Cakewalk by BandLab, n a few othaz. I upgraded to Pro 7 when it came out. The price to upgrade from artist was to good of a deal. Especially since there would be no more artist versions. I seen thru the marketing on that. But hey, it wuz a gd marketing strategy n a gd price. I enjoy the implementation of splice. Howeva, I wish it would had been wit Loopcloud instead. I do not truss splice. They do have some gd samples. I will not be setting up a sub thru them tho. Altho I have third party plugs to isolate certain instruments, the implementation of a native version is also nice. It's just as clean as otha programs I've used. Once I use it more I'll have a betta review. As much as I love Reason, Reason isn't tryin to be innovative n compete wit the otha Daws that surpassed them. Studio one wuz number 2. Now I made it number one. I'll update this review in a few weeks.

johnwoo---- That's not a review, that's a rant.
