FilterShaper

Filtershaper and Volumeshaper have plenty of use here for adding some weird oneshot or sequenced modulation or variations on the volume of single channel tracks.
Working with such clean and clear GUIs is just a breeze in terms of understanding at once what you're actually tweaking, even when in doubt, but, more importantly, the sound of the filter is indeed rich from scratch, and never dull or lacking life, even when not sequenced.
The possibilities of adding new nuances to some filter sequences are really astonishing, with all those waveforms available internally, all of them routable in endless ways to combine in life-injected filter movements with complex or weird evolution of settings.
In such many genres of electronic music like drum & bass or dubstep, where there's always some bassline evolving and rarely statically playing a pattern, or complex variations of breakbeat programming, such plugins are just plain heaven-sent to add quickly some tweaks that will “move” the effected sound, even while the variations of the settings are just quite subtle.
Filtershaper, in particular, apart from being a real good-sounding filter even when used in a static behaviour (meaning only as a “normal” LP/BP/BR/HP filter), is the choice to go when i need to start adding some “evolving” attitude with a filter on a track channel: the chance of controlling several aspects of the wavesequenced triggering to obtain complex modulation routing sequences, simply can answer to ANY need of adding some spice of life even to the dullest bassline or lead synth sounds.

Welp... It's $79 now. I wish there was loyalty rewards for already owning Shaperbox.

You can recreate the same effects using 2 Shaperboxes in parallel, it's just more hassle that way, but I've done it.

I'd rather buy Filtershaper when it's on sale than it's current price.

Hey there! If you already own products from us, you can upgrade to the full Cableguys Bundle via your user account, for a reduced price. For example if you own ShaperBox 3, the upgrade currently costs €69 / $69, and it adds FilterShaper XL, Curve 2, HalfTime and MidiShaper.

That's a deal. I logged into my account and didn't see that, because I was looking at the Filtershaper page and it still says $79 while logged in and I didn't see any reference to buying the upgraded bundle from that exact page from what I recall. If it was there, I didn't see it.

I'll have to check it out by the end of this month, cause I will be away from my DAW for several days until then.

I would buy it now, but my DAW has my passwords to my account for the Cableguys website for the product.
