Fireface 802 FS

The RME Fireface 802 FS is a professional 1U rackmount audio interface that serves as a complete studio solution, offering a vast array of high-quality analog and digital I/O. Building on the legacy of the legendary Fireface 802, the FS version incorporates RME's cutting-edge SteadyClock FS technology, which provides phenomenal jitter suppression and guarantees an incredibly precise and stable clock reference. This results in a wider, more detailed stereo image and pristine audio conversion. The Fireface 802 FS is designed for professional recording studios, project studios, and live recording engineers who demand reliability, flexibility, and uncompromising sound quality.

The interface provides a total of 30 input and 30 output channels. On the analog side, it features 12 inputs and 12 outputs. This includes four high-quality microphone preamps with combo XLR/TRS jacks on the front panel, along with eight balanced line inputs and outputs on the rear. For digital connectivity, the 802 FS is equipped with two ADAT I/O ports (providing up to 16 channels), an AES/EBU I/O, Word Clock I/O, and MIDI I/O. The interface connects to a computer via USB 2.0 and includes the powerful TotalMix FX software, a DSP-based mixer that provides latency-free routing, monitoring, and on-board effects like EQ, dynamics, reverb, and delay. The Anniversary Edition features a sleek black front panel to celebrate RME's history of audio excellence.
