FK10

The Forgotten Keys FK10 is a virtual Korg KR-55 analogue drum machine. Although the KR-55 wasn't programmable like the Roland CR-8000, it did included a huge number of pre-set rhythms for the time as well as intro and fill-in patterns..

The FK10 features isolated multi-samples of each drum sound and re-creations of all the internal rhythm patterns and intro/fill-ins. Rhythms can be combined with each other which was not possible on the original. There is a swing control to alter the groove or feel of the rhythm and an adjustable meter to give any rhythm a waltz or 5/4 time signature. The volume, panning, tuning and mute status of each sound can be adjusted and the MIDI input and audio output routing can be customised.
