FK12

The Forgotten Keys FK12 is a virtual Roland CompuRhythm CR-8000 analogue drum machine from the 1980s.

The FK12 features isolated multi-samples of each drum sound, some at 7 accent levels, and re-creations of all the internal rhythm patterns and intro/fill-ins, as well as the programmability of the original.

The Setup tab offers control over how the FK12 sounds and operates. There are volume, pan, tune and mute controls for each sound. Incoming MIDI notes can be mapped to any rhythm or sound and outgoing sounds can be assigned to any available Kontakt output. Random tune and volume controls add a little human element to the sounds.
