FK8

The Forgotten Keys FK8 is a virtual Maestro Rhythm King MRK-4 analogue drum machine from the mid 1970s. These machines were also integrated into some top-of-the-range Lowrey organs of the same period.

The FK8 features isolated multi-samples of each drum sound and re-creations of all the internal rhythm patterns. These patterns can be combined with each other just like the original. An intro/fill-in control adds a drum break to the rhythm when selected. The volume, panning, tuning and mute status of each sound can be adjusted, and the MIDI input and audio output routing can be customised.
