FMidiClock is a plugin for Windows that creates MIDI beat clock messages from a host application and sends those clock messages to a specified MIDI device.

It can be used to:

  • Allow a host DAW to control the transport of hardware that accepts MIDI beat clock.
  • Allow a host DAW to control another DAW's transport through a virtual MIDI device. *

* Additional software may be required to create virtual MIDI devices (e.g., loopMIDI)
* Not all hosts support MIDI beat clock and for those that do, support may be incomplete
* Please note that this plugin currently only outputs "MIDI beat clock", and does not support "MIDI time code (MTC) "
