Forgex

Forgex is a free channel utility and stereo toolkit for macOS. It handles the everyday channel jobs — gain, pan, width, and phase — and adds mono-compatibility tools and forensic metering for clean mix prep.

Channel controls:

• Gain (−100 to +24 dB) with smoothed ramping.
• Pan with Balance or Constant-Power law.
• Stereo Width (0–200%) via mid/side, with all-pass decorrelation above 100% for mono safety.
• Independent left / right phase flip.
• Channel routing: Stereo, Swap L/R, Left only, Right only, Mid only, Side only.

Mono-safe and clean:

• Low-End Monomizer — sums sub-bass to mono below an adjustable crossover (20–500 Hz) to kill phase cancellation on club systems.
• ISP Limiter — intersample-peak protection to stop converter clipping.
• DC filter to remove offset from nonlinear chains.

Metering:

• Real-time correlation meter with an out-of-phase warning.
• Stereo input/output level meters and a mono-compatibility indicator.

Also inside:

• 15 factory presets, A/B comparison, randomize, and preset save/load.
• Soft-clip and hard-limit output safety.
• Resizable window.

Formats: AU, VST3, and Standalone — Universal Binary (Apple Silicon + Intel), code-signed and notarized by Apple, so it installs cleanly on macOS. Free to download.
