At the core of the Fusion System II are a selection of Erica Synths' most acclaimed Fusion series modules. It features two Fusion VCO2s, which are powerful analog oscillators with tube overdrive and a unique BBD-based detuning circuit for incredibly thick sounds. The system's filter is the Fusion VCF3, a 24dB/octave low-pass filter that uses a combination of vacuum tubes and vactrols to achieve a distinctive and musical filtering character. For modulation, the system includes the Fusion Modulator, a complex analog CV source with looping envelopes, a VCA, noise, and sample & hold. The Fusion VCA/Waveshaper/Ringmodulator provides a versatile tube-based tool for dynamic control and timbral manipulation.
