Report from AVAST antivirus when trying to download the new version (2.5) a few minutes ago:
31/03/2016 16:27:17 http://tekit-audio.com/assets/softwares/genobazz-setup.exe [L] FileRepMetagen [Malware]
So : first, your installer application contains a malware (and FileRepMetagen is not a fake!), but in addition your website is now blocked by my antivirus.
Why the hell that bad habit to make exe installers for freeware plugins which are nothing else than simple DLL's which could be simply distributed by single zip files that all the users perfectly know how to unzip and on all the platforms???
Sorry for the trouble.
This should be a valse positive, all the antivirus engines I tested the files again report nothing and our Windows computer is under protection and perfectly clean. I contacted AVAST on this matter and waiting for their response.
For the installers, we distribute our softwares to make it as simple as possible for our users. This don't just copy a DLL to a folder but install fonts and other files like the user manual and additional presets.
We got a reply from Avast, the file has been analyzed by the Avast Virus lab and whitelisted. The file should not be detected by Avast after a database update. I hope this solves your concerns.
Thank you Mika. Once the automatic update made of the database (it is made several times per day) I'm going now to see how to make my Avast unblock your website, in order to have access to it again. It is probably in the "whitelist/blacklist" parameters of the web shield in the copy installed on each machine.
